PENERAPAN KONSELING KELOMPOK GESTALT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN RASA PERCAYA DIRI PADA SISWA KELAS VII-D SMP NEGERI 1 MOJOSARI

The objective of this research is to examine the application of Gestalt group counseling with reversal technique to improve self confidence in VII-D students of state junior high school 1 Mojosari. In conducting this research, the researcher used pre experimental design that were pre test and post test one group design. Data collection technique that was used was questionnaire with 4 choice to know the confidence scores. The subjects in this study were 7 students of class VII-D at SMP Negeri 1 Mojosari who have low confidence category. To analyse the data, the researcher used non-parametic statistical analysis with wilcoxon signed rank test.

The use of wilcoxon signed rank test shows that the value of J = 0. If the level of error is 5 % and N = 7, we will get the value of  J ​​= 2, it can be concluded that J calculation < J table. The alternate hypothesis is "Application of Gestalt group counseling with reversal technique can increase the confidence in VIID grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mojosari" acceptable. It can be concluded that the application of Gestalt group counseling with inversion techniques can improve the confidence for VII-D student of SMP Negeri 1 Mojosari.
